In response to the structural changes within the Vietnamese Government – particularly the merger of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) into the new Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (MAE) – the Vietnam Business Forum (VBF) is aligning its structure accordingly to ensure our working groups remain relevant and effective in policy dialogue.
We are pleased to announce that, effective 17 July 2025, the Environment Working Group and the Agriculture Working Group will be consolidated into a single platform: the AgriBusiness and Environment Working Group. This restructuring reflects the evolving governance landscape and is aimed at fostering stronger coordination, integrated advocacy, and a more holistic approach to sustainable development, natural resource management, and environmental protection.
