🛎 On 24–25 September 2026, the Customs Department organised a series of consultation workshops to seek comments on draft legal documents guiding the implementation of the amended Customs Law.
🔹 The two-day consultations were chaired by Mr. Âu Anh Tuấn, Deputy Director General of the Customs Department, and conducted in a hybrid format. The sessions brought together representatives from the Customs Department’s functional units, relevant government agencies, business associations and enterprises, with Customs authorities and businesses from various localities joining online.
🔹 The consultations focused on one draft Decree and two draft Circulars, covering customs procedures, customs inspection, supervision and control, tax administration for imported and exported goods, and the list of goods subject to customs procedures at the port of entry.
🔹 Representatives of the VBF Tax & Customs Working Group participated in the consultations and provided comments on the draft regulations, contributing practical perspectives from the business community to the ongoing drafting process.
🔹 The consultations form part of the continued development of implementing regulations for Law No. 11/2026/QH16 amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Customs Law, adopted by the National Assembly on 23 August 2026 and scheduled to take effect from 1 March 2027.
