In implementation of the program on developing laws and ordinances on cybersecurity and personal data protection in the cyberspace, the Department of Cyber-security and High-technology Crime Prevention (A05), Ministry of Public Security organized the Workshop “Policy on online personal data protection and best practices for Vietnam” on 19 April 2019 in Hanoi. The event aims to identify and create facilities for developing a national legal system of cybersecurity and personal data protection in the cyberspace; accordingly, to determine risks, challenges to cybersecurity and protection measures.
On behalf of VBF Investment and Trade Working Group, Mr. Seck Yee Chung attended and shared international experience on personal data protection and recommendations to complete the Vietnamese policies on protecting personal data in the current situation.
