ANNUAL VIETNAM BUSINESS FORUM – TECHNICAL SESSION ON 18 FEBBRUARY 2022

    Restoring the supply chain to ensure circulation of goods, attract investment flows, enhance competitiveness are the issues discussed by the VBF Working Groups at the Technical Session within the framework of Annual Vietnam Business Forum’s activities (Annual VBF) taking place on the afternoon of February 18, 2022 in Hanoi. The event aims to resolve technical issues in preparation for the High-Level Session of the Annual Forum on February 21, 2022.

    The meeting was jointly hosted by VBF Co-Chairman, Mr. Funayama Tetsu and Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment, H. E. Mrs. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc.

    At the Technical session, VBF Working Groups represented the business community covering issues in a wide range of areas including: Agribusiness, Infrastructure, Power and Energy, Mining, Digital Economy, Investment & Trade, Tax & Customs, Tourism, Environment, Education & Training and Human Resources.  Along with reports from the VBF Working Groups, representatives of relevant ministries and sectors had direct responses to the issues raised at the Technical Session. Speaking at the conclusion of the Technical Session, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc acknowledged the issues raised and highly appreciated the contributions and recommendations of VBF Working Groups. All the issues are consolidated for reporting to the Prime Minister at the High-level Session on February 21, 2022.
