Our big forums are usually held in every June and December and co-chaired by the Minister of Planning and Investment, the World Bank’s Vietnam Country Director, the IFC’s Regional Manager for Vietnam, and the VBF Co-chairmen. The forum will feature one specific theme that is in line with the Government’s working agenda within the year. Besides updating status quo of the issues raised in the previous forum, proposing recommendations in the coming policy development, it is the chance for enterprises and the Government to better understand opportunities and challenges facing the business community in Vietnam. The presence of the Government’s leaders at the highest level at the forums reflects the strong commitment of Vietnam in accompanying with businesses towards building a favorable business environment and sustainable economic development in Vietnam.
